Saw 6

Saw 6 is the sixth horror film in the saw series and is coming out on October the 23rd 2009. With the Cast;Shawnee Smith, Tobin Bell, Betsy Russell, James Van Patten, and Costas Mandylor.
Director: Kevin Greutert and Writers: Marcus Dunstan, and Patrick Melton.

Saw 6 is about a Special Agent Strahm who is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood.

The perfect movie to see today on Halloween it is sure to scare viewers in a sense, but since this is the sixth in the series it is not as good as it were before. In my opinion saw 5 beats saw 1,2 and 3. But 4 was ok. Saw 1 had a low budget, it was just so unique and original, now there on a tight string barely being able to balance on now such ridiculous plot lines. I will still find the time to see this movie, but, if they make a saw 7 im not going to see it.

Tron

Tron 'Legacy' is the sequel to the original tron movie that was made somewhere in the 1990's, is coming out in 2011. This Science Fiction film stars, Olivia Wilde, Jeff Bridges, John Hurt, Bruce Boxleitner, and Amy Esterle. Director, Joseph Kosinski. Writers, Adam Horowitz, and Richard Jefferies.

This sequel is about A virtual-world worker, who looks to take down the Master Control Program.
I personally love tron and i am definitely seeing this movie the day it comes out. It has stunning visuals, as seen in the trailer.

Apparently Daft Punk is doing the soundtrack to this movie and they are good so now we know that both the visuals and the soundtracks will be good. Even though this movie will be good it can not top the original tron that was really high-tech for its time, i think i will see it again before i see this one.

Bioshock 2

Bioshock 2, is a game I have been waiting on, to come out for months after playing the first one. When I heard they were making a second one I wasn't surprised and I was excited to see what the game had in store for us fans. Coming out on the 20th of November bioshock returns for the second time.

Everyone who has played the first bioshock, knows that you had to fight 'Big daddy's' mini bosses that you had to face and defeat throughout the game but this time apparently you get to play as one. when I heard this, it was hard to imagine, but they have made the game even so that more enemies will appear, (that use to be too hard to handle in groups) since you will have the plasmid powers and the brute strength of the big daddy body.

I am getting this game the day it comes out its another game that will have everyone's attention for a long time. 10/10

Dear John,

Dear John, is a movie coming out on the 5th of February 2010, and it is featuring Channing Tatum Richard Jenkins, Michael Harding and Amanda Seyfried, who starred in mama-mia. Director, Lasse Hallström and Writer Jamie Linden, Nicholas Sparks.

This movie is a romantic drama about a soldier who falls for a conservative college student while he's home on leave. I know a lot of people especially girls who are crazy for Tatum who will like this movie , and for a long time he hasn't done any movies tha tinclude alot of romance, mainly fighting.

I liked tatum in step up and never back down, but i don't know if i am looking forward to this movie. Still, it should be good for any one who liked romance movies and Channing Tatum.

Jackie chan, The spy next door

This January of the 15th, Jackie Chan is bob who plays a spy in the upcoming, Lions gate, theatrical movie, 'The spy next door'. This Action Packed, Comedy film has the Cast; Jackie Chan, Lucas Till, George Lopez, Amber Valletta, and Katherine Boecher,With the Director, Brian Levant and Writers, Jonathan Bernstein, James Greer.

While babysitting his neighbor's children, a mild-mannered guy winds up having to fight off secret agents after one of the kids inadvertently downloads a secret code. I'm a Jackie Chan fan i was sold when i saw this trailer and I'm going to see this movie it looks good.

Although i think many can agree Jackie and Chris tucker make the best pair in an action, Comedy film, but this time Jackie is flying solo. Unfortunately, many films have already done this concept. The Pacifier and Mr Nanny spring to mind, but Im sure there's even more.

Julie & Julia

Julie and Julia is a biography/drama movie that is coming out on the 7th of august. With the Cast; Amy Adams, Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, and Vanessa Ferlito, Director; Nora Ephron and Writer; Nora Ephron, Julie Powell.


The film follows Powell, a government employee who decides to cook her way through legendary cook Julia Child's classic cookbook, "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" in one year's time out of her small Queens kitchen. Powell blogs her daily experiences, gaining a loyal following along the way. The movie also follows Julia and Paul Child through Julia Child's memoir, MY LIFE IN FRANCE, which she wrote with her grand nephew Alex Prud'homme.

This movie makes me hungry just watching the trailer. I'm a big movie fan. I see a wide range of movies over a month and this is a good movie - entertaining, consistently amusing, and well acted by all. It probably won't scoop Oscars (not least because comedy rarely wins Oscars), but will make big bucks for Julie Powell, Norah Ephron, and the studios.

Astro Boy

Astro Boy, coming out on the 23rd of October is an animation movie based on the early 90's cartoons. Featuring the cast; Nicolas Cage, Kristen Bell and Bill Nighy. With the directors; Osamu Tezuka (comic series), Timothy Harris (screenplay).

The plot is Set in futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he has lost. Unable to fulfill the grieving man's expectations, our hero embarks on a journey in search of acceptance, experiencing betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he returns to save
Metro City and reconcile with the father who had rejected him.

When i heard they were making an Astro Boy movie i was excited but when Hollywood makes movies based on old animes I remember like 'dragon ball z' and 'street fighter'. This Astro Boy looks promising because it has the spirit that the original Osamu Tezuka anime had.
Even though it's CG, this is a better anime adaptation than Dragonball Evolution.

I don't like the look of it, i think it is another example of and great old franchise being bought up and ruined for a quick buck with no respect for original ideas.

Law Abiding Citizen

An awesome thriller coming out on the 16 of October(today), is starring Gerald Butler and Jamie foxx and as soon as i saw the official trailer i knew i had to see it. It looks like its going to be an amazing movie as always Gerald Butler makes a movie very entertaining like, 300, Gamer and What men want.

Law Abiding Citizen is a thriller about a brilliant sociopath who orchestrates a series of high-profile murders that grip the city of Philadelphia - all from inside his jail cell - and the prosecutor assigned to his case who realizes he is the only one who can end the reign of terror.

With the cast, Gerard Butler, Michael Gambon, and Jamie Foxx. Director, F. Gary Gray
Writer, Kurt Wimmer. There are many great movies coming out and i have to write them down so i don't forget to see them while there out.

Its too bad that people don't respect Jamie Foxx as much as Gerrad but hes done many great films as well. I think Foxx deserves more respect since he's , Got an Oscar for Best Actor , Nominated twice for an Oscar , Nominated for three Golden Globes, and a great fil mthat came out not too long ago, 'Soloistt' he also did a great Ray Charles.

Until Butler accomplishes something like that then Foxx deserves more praise.

Youth In Revolt

A New movie coming out on the #0th of October, called 'Youth in Revolt', is a comedy based film starring Michael Cera Who also starred in 'Superbad' is halarious in this film It is about Nick's trailer trash parents teeter who are on the edge of divorce, 14-year-old Nick sets his sights on dream girl Sheeni Saunders, hoping that she'll be the one to take away his virginity. Director; and Miguel Arteta. Writers; Gustin Nash, and C.D. Payne

Many people who have seen the special city screening have said this movie is funny and entertaining and everyone should g osee it. They say, 'everybody in the theater was dieing of laughter, there is not a single moment that your not laughing'. Michael Cera is great as a bad and good guy.

I haven't seen Year One yet. It looks funny, like when he is playing the gold statue and asks the slave what time she gets off and she says "never, I am a slave". I am going to go see this movie because he is the same character that we all like.

If Michael cera appeals to a lot of people who watch movies and makes a fair bit of money through it, is he not a bit talented? Cause he's talented enough to make it in the business, and that's a lot more than other actors.

Where the Wild Things Are

Many people know this book called 'Where the Wild Things Are', a story about a boy named max who's parents send him to bed without supper, then he throws a tantrum and then travels to an island where wild things are, and they do a Rumpus which is a party where they dance and howl.

Finally the movie that most people have been waiting for, is coming out the 16th of October 2009. With the cast, Catherine O'Hara, Forest Whitaker, and Catherine Keener and writers, Spike Jonze, and Dave Eggers. the overall plot follows most of the books storyline, an adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic children's story, where Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world--a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler.

I don't understand why all of the greatest children's books have to be made into over-hyped movies. Now, I feel like kids who aren't old enough to know the book yet will think of this story as a movie, rather than a picture book. To add to that, the CGI makes the wild things look as un-wild as possible. They just look big, bouncy. Another icon of childhood ruined by CGI, over promotion. -The Arcade Fire song makes the trailer look and soud better than it is. Theatres will be packed for this movie, and i might see it since inever read the books.

Red Cliff

Red cliff, a new movie coming out in early November is a action adventure movie, directed by John Woo, an epic movie that is based on the events during the Three Kingdoms period in Ancient China in which specifically told in the title, The Battle of Red Cliffs.

With the cast that looks like the characters from the 'Dynasty warriors' series, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Wei Zhao, Chen Chang, and Shido Nakamura. A lot of people want the asian characters to talk english in movies but, I don't want this movie in English. I want the language they speak, but I want English subs. Its just lame to dub or make them talk English, when its not about English people. Apparently this movie is a sequal and was already realeased in singapore, but i will still go to see this movie when it comes out. Still, its a great film, excellently choreographed, and fun to watch. A must see for any fans of films like House of Fying Daggers, Hero and Crouching Tiger.

The Fourth Kind

A new scary movie called the 'Fourth Kind' is coming out on the 6th of November. With the cast Milla Jovovich, Elias Koteas, and Will Patton. The movie is a Fact-based thriller involving an ongoing unsolved mystery in Alaska, where one town has seen an extraordinary number of unexplained disappearances during the past 40 years and there are accusations of a federal cover up.

Nowadays horror movies are boring and the least they do is scare me, but finally a movie worth watching to get a jump now and then. In my opinion, movies involving aliens are the scariest and this one is going to win some kind of award, not movies involving 'saws' that are suppose to be suspenseful.

if you have nightmares from seeing horror movies, don't see this movie. This movie is going to just prove that nothing is what it seems. That anything people believe isn't real is or could be.

Alice In Wonderland

Coming out on the 5th or march next near, Alice in Wonderland, a Disney feature film, starring Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman, Christopher Lee, Stephen Fry, Mia Wasikowska and Tim Burton as director is a classic Disney animation brought to life.

This classic tale is about a the adventures of a young girl, Alice, who falls into a magical world full of strange characters and darkness behind every corner. Since Tm Burton made the Nightmare Before Christmas' , Beetle Juice , Ed Scissor hands , the Batman, , Sleepy Hollow , ST:TDBOFS , Corpse Bride ,Charlie and okay the list goes on. Bottom line, Tim Burton is amazing. If you liked any of these movies you will like this one.

Couples Retreat

A fun movie to watch, 'Couples Retreat' is a fun movie to watch coming out on the 9th of October 2009. With the cast as Vince Vaughn, Malin Akerman, Ken Jeong, Kristen Bell, and Jason Bateman.

The plot is about a comedy centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort's therapy sessions is not optional.

This movie looks like an average date movie/comedy at best to me. Just more of the same comedy
fodder that fills the space between the good stuff. Might make for a good movie to take a date on, but probably nothing more than that. This movie will probably get good reviews because it is funny.

This movie is about a poor, over sized and under-educated teenager is recruited by a major college football program where he is groomed into an athletically and academically successful NFL prospect. Based on Michael Lewis' book, "The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game.

Even though this movie is based on a true story and is great, there's a good chance twilight new moon will steal its thunder. this is a movie worth seeing. The trailer itself is inspiring. Sandra Bullock should get an Oscar.

Ong bak 2

One of my favorite martial arts movies, Òng Bak 2`is coming out on the 23 of October. With the cast, Tony Jaa, Sorapong Chatree, and Sarunyu, Tony makes another cable-less action packed movie that made me want to see it the moment I was done watching the trailer. This time the plot is about a young Thai boxer that learns the skills and inner meaning of martial art. This movie is not to be confused with `the protector` but this movie releases late in America and came out in Malaysia in March 2009.

Even though I like the movie I don`t like the fact that they use English instead of their native language it just defeats the purpose but some people do not like watching and reading subtitles at the same time. What I like about this movie is that they do not use green screens or stuntmen I cannot wait to see this movie.
